    Parkour: Mana from building.

I think the idea of the incentive is good to have in the air at least. There's gotta be a good way of doing it, and the way you proposed seems pretty solid too. Earlier I suggested we get a specific, less prominent currency for building, which unlocks ranks or just an additional name-hover word...

Parkour: It is actually bad that we need to pay to get coloured signs. It is a pain for us all.

Okay, great! My ign is Ryu. I had somebody with a rank colour them blue for me earlier, but all other signs have the defaulted white colour. I can place some extra ones to show.

    Parkour: Mana from building.

Thanks for consideration so far! I agree. If the points were only given to parkourists then people would be certain they got it from parkour. However, I still have the feeling I explained earlier (Being 30 hours into a build with no new rank or recognition). Perhaps we could provide a builder...

Parkour: It is actually bad that we need to pay to get coloured signs. It is a pain for us all.

I see. Well if that's the case, then the initial point of this forum post stands again, back at relevancy.

Parkour: It is actually bad that we need to pay to get coloured signs. It is a pain for us all.

I see. If that's the case, why do I still have automatic white text on the signs in my plot?

Parkour: It is actually bad that we need to pay to get coloured signs. It is a pain for us all.

I see! With that info, if it's possible, I suppose I am then asking those who can do something about it to stop possibly neglecting it and see if they figure it out again. And in the meantime, I propose we gain the ability to colour with black, assuming it's possible to code that in.

Parkour: It is actually bad that we need to pay to get coloured signs. It is a pain for us all.

Many mappers don't pay to get coloured signs. And it means that they are forced to use an unreadable gray on all of their signs. Initially the idea of paying for coloured signs sounds okay, but when you think about it, thousands of people play through these maps, and the pain of needing to...

Parkour: We need more non-irl-money incentive for cosmetics.

Even more of a reason to give more attention to the idea of non-donor cosmetic incentives, if this is the case.

    Parkour: Mana from building.

You said (in other words): "Mana should not be incentive for building". I think that a block by block xp like incentive would add an additional rewarding system that would make building feel similarly rewarding as the parkour, making more people want to create builds, even if just for fun. This...

Parkour: We need more non-irl-money incentive for cosmetics.

There is no straight forward, automatic and easy conversion between mana and cubits (which would be another wise thing to add since you're recognizing both of them as currencies). And even then, people would not be able to tell if it was bought with real money or attained with ingame effort. As...

Parkour: We need more non-irl-money incentive for cosmetics.

More cosmetic rewards for those who don't pay real money for it. There's an abundance of them. There's the checkmark. But where are the wearable cosmetics? They could be earned by doing niche and challenging achievements. We need more of them. Also imagine if a chat colour was attainable with...

    Parkour: Mana from building.

Give mana at a certain fixed tickrate (to avoid farming) when building blocks in the mapmaker world. I want it to count partially as a grind for mana too as a little reward for not following the traditional parkour grind and contributing to the community.

Parkour: "Hall Of Skill" - Skill-Level Above Insane.

Thanks for the edification! I appreciate the consideration. And if it is how I see it, yeah, rankup parkour that is purely skill would be something I would enjoy and appreciate. I've been thinking about that too, recently.

POLL: What do you like the most? Passive incentive from playtime, or grinding mindlessly for incentive?

With one, you get to do what you want and improve at what you want, and with the other, you get to become really good at one thing: gaining points and spending hours on end grinding something. What do you like the most of these two, and why?

What's the incentive to beat the hardest map in the server besides personal pride?

"Simpsons" is probably the hardest map on the server right now. But when you beat it, it will just say "this guy beat an insane map". And you get no more reward than for the easiest insane map. And nobody will immediately see that you beat the hardest map on the server. No special reward...

Parkour: "Hall Of Skill" - Skill-Level Above Insane.

What other parkour servers are as big as this one? I've been looking a bit and I still haven't found one that is remotely as popular. Also, I don't think adding more content would make people leave the server. It can be both easy and hard. I don't see why you would ignore a certain difficulty...

Parkour: "Hall Of Skill" - Skill-Level Above Insane.

I appreciate your response. The point of it would be to fulfull the last section of difficulty: The truly impossible maps, yet technically possible. It's a difficulty that should exist, if only just in a scarce amount, so that the full spectrum of skill is covered to be played. It's like how...

Parkour: "Hall Of Skill" - Skill-Level Above Insane.

"The Hall Of Skill" Would be literally be a huge hall, containing the hardest maps. Some maps, like Simpsons, are too hard to even count as Insane maps compared to other maps in the same skill-level. They should have their own prize bracket due to this. Or if you think they barely still count...
